Let's Do Something New!

This is definitely one of the most fun -NEW- things to do and ANYONE can do it. I challenge YOU to give something to a stranger today. It is as EASY as leaving something on their car.

However, we never know what the response will be. I alway have a fantasy that it will move them to tears and change their LIFE.  We never know the LONG term effect, but this was a very interesting experiment that I did for my day 3 of doing ONE NEW THING a day for 365 days………..it is something that anyone single or married can do, you do not have to have much money, you do not have to have much time……just about 4 dollars to buy a balloon with a card that you can write something in if u wish……

here is what happened when I did it. Just remember, people are NOT always trusting when they receive something from a stranger…..but we know that the gift may somehow, (after the camera is turned off), melt their heart just a little, and inspire them to LOVE just a little bit more……..

Day #2 of doing something new in 2010!!

I hope each and everyone of you can try this at least once in your life……ICe SKATING IN LOS ANGELES!!  It was a BLAST!

Well this was not quite what I had planned for the first NEW thing to try of 2010…….but it would have made an amazing Nancy Drew mystery story. To sum it up, my purse was stolen at a bar on new years eve, but fortunately, I had set up my i-phone tracking system on my mobile me account, and so by 3 am I knew exactly where it was on the GPS tracking system. It was at a house 35 miles away, and I had NO idea who lived there, but I KNEW for sure my i-phone was there and I was going to get it.   This was my story of how I drove to the house and eventually got my i-phone back!!!!!!  A very happy ending and exciting way to start the NEW year.

Okay, so it is only 2 days away from the NEW YEAR!!! I am getting ready to do ONE new thing a day for 365 days, and I hope you join me!

I did start off posting my HOLLYWOOD X-MAS song as a tease to get people to come back!  AND It’s a NEW THING FOR ME TO DO to write a x-mas song about living in Hollywood at X-mas as well as  post it on the web!    Just FYI I have 2 web domains….”trysomethingnew.us” and  ”Let’sdosomethingnew.com”  either one will get you here! What is here?  Well, the secret to making life exciting from this moment on!  Trying NEW things. Every day. Not NUDE things. (Although that would be exciting as well.) One new thing. Every day.  By the end of the year imagine how many NEW people, NEW things and New experiences you will have— a NEW life awaits!  In the meantime here is a NEW song….although x-mas is over….it’s still a NEW way to view x-mas….through HOLLYWOOD
