New thing to do—Feed the HOMELESS….
This organization is incredible, they do not just feed the homeless every weekend, they make SURE that these people get a chance for a better life. They are a “work for food” program, teaching the people from the streets how to get off the streets, get a job, and get a better life. It is called FOOD ON FOOT (please click on that name to see how to help or volunteer) One man decided to start this 735 weeks ago. He has never missed a week. His name is Jay Goldinger and he is one of the biggest secret angels Los Angeles has. He had hard luck growing up, was on the street himself at one point, and promised himself if he ever had the chance he would dedicate his life to helping people on the streets. He is now doing that. I was lucky enough to volunteer for this program a few years ago, and have been an avid 84 dollar a month member, because I know the money goes straight to this program, which helps get people off the streets, and feeds them as well. I decided as my new thing to film what he does, and volunteer again this past Sunday. It is only an hour, you get to feed the homeless, bring clothes to them, and watch the ones who want to get off the streets go through an awards ceremony that helps them gain self respect,recognition, and support. I can not say enough about Jay and what he has done. I believe in it, and if I ever make enough money he is going to get a large amount. He is doing such amazing things. This do something new will change your life, and the lives of others.
