New thing to do—tell someone THANK YOU……
This was an easy one, but very, VERY powerful. It’s all about being thankful….and I know from experience, the more you give thanks to the universe ( and to the people in your life) the more you are in the energy of HAVE…… and so….the more you will receive. Today I wanted to let my sister know how grateful I am for a gift she made me a few years ago that I still use every day. I encourage you today to DO SOMETHING NEW and give thanks to one person in your life that might have added something to your life…..weather it is a gift, a nice word, their friendship, or, like my sister…something I use almost everyday, that she might not realize means so much to me. Just an e-mail, it will not take but a second, but it is such a great thing to do, for you and for the other person, to remind them that you are in appreciation of what they add to your life 
So I am telling you, if you DO subscribe to my blog, and you are reading this…..just commit today, to sending out a quick e-mail of thanks, to someone, and you know who they are…….it will be so worth it, and you will feel really good about your DOINGSOMETHINGNEW…..and so will they!!! Here is what I am thanking my sister for……
You’re welcome!! I remember making this for you after your place burned down and you were rebuilding after losing so much. I wanted you to feel wrapped up with a big hug from home (and wanted Howie to have a hug of his own too, even though he’s always home as long as he’s with you:). LOVE YOU!! – Big Sis

The worth of this video lies in how, in it, you did your very best to express
the inexpressible. Tryingf to do that required you to take your time and go on, at a length of expression which, these days, is always moving for me to experience–because we live in an age when “going on” is too often resented. The more you said, it was clearer and clearer how much love there is within your relationship with your sister, and how the blanket and the circumstances surrounding it making really–well, express that “is.” So, the whole video was not about what a transcript of it might have said, but about what came clearer, non-verbally, out of it, as you kept talking.
This was really you at your best, creatively. Doing something so simple and perhaps even
seemingly obvious that no one else would stop and take the time to do, and leaving it out
there for us, to inspect, just as it is.
So that we stop, too, and live life more fully.

I am looking at my book case and realizing how many REALLY good books you have put me on to and give me over the years. Being the book lover I am, that means a LOT.
